This self catering vacation rental holiday home is located three miles from the beautiful village of Roundstone, which has several restaurants shops and pubs. Ballyconneely is a smaller village, three miles in the other direction and has an 18 hole championship golf course. Calla beach is about 5 minutes walk and has beautiful white sand and is very secluded. There are several other beaches in the area as well as horse riding and deep sea fishing trips, interesting coastline and lots of lakes.

The house is well furnished and double glazed.

This property is located near the water South of Clifden ( approx 15 minute drive ) , which makes it a great base for touring the Galway , Clare, Mayo region. Located in the heart of Connemara a traditional Gaeltacht ( Irish Speaking area)

There is a par 72 golf course at Ballyconneely. Ballyconneely lies at the neck of a peninsula which is lined with beautiful beaches. False beach at Dunloughan in the west is good for surfing. Some of the beaches are popular for shore fishing. Attractions around Ballyconneely include Roundstone Bog to the east, the Derrygimla bog to the north near Ballinaboy. For golfers and fishermen it is a great location.

Connemara smoke house is worth a visit for specialists in wild and organic salmon. The Atlantic waters offers an abundance of fishing including pollock, mackerel, ling, conger, ray and blue shark. Shore angling is very popular along this coastline and there are many superb locations for both beach and rock fishing. Leisure walking can be enjoyed along the miles of sandy beaches and sand dunes.

Boating courses run through out the year, from water /boat safety awareness to yacht masters courses. Clifden is just 15 minutes away

Galway Races & Oyster Festival; This is an ideal location for a day at the races or for the Oyster Festival which is on in September or the races at the end of July

A refundable security deposit is payable on arrival to the caretaker €150.00 ( refunded after the house keeper has inspected the property)
